Saitek Eclipse III August 7, 2010 Awsome keyboard! Color settings include blue, red, bright pink, pink, and purple. You can also choose between 4 different dimm settings. This keyboard come with a slick wrist rest, that is detachable, but adds to the asthetics when attached. It also has a lot of useful hot keys along the edges. Keys are not loud 'clicky', but not completely quite either. I reccomend this keyboard causer its super bad**s.
Amazing backlit keyboard August 5, 2010 I have owned the Merc, Merc Stealth, and Eclipse 1 and 2. I am typing this review right now on it. This is by far my favorite of all of the back-lit keyboards I've owned. It was easy to set up with windows 7, just plug and play. If you want extended features (such as the macro buttons on the side of the keyboard) you need to install the included software, but that's not hard. I am a heavy gamer and I mostly play when the lights are out. This keyboard is the brightest I have owned and the only one with the ability to change the color and brightness of different sections of the keyboard. the hand rest add-on is a little flimsy and I am afraid when moving the keyboard around that it will break. The keys have great feedback and I can type faster on this keyboard than any other. This is a GREAT buy for any gamer who wants a gaming keyboard for a great price (I bought mine at $60). I would and have recommended it to all of my friends.

If you drink beverages while at your workstation, I do not recommend this keyboard. A single drop of water anywhere on the keyboard results in total keyboard failure. Won't be buying anymore non-waterproof keyboards from here on out!
Nicest keyboard i've used and plug-n-play July 27, 2010 Plug-n-play, no software needed. I think Logitech would be the only other choice. I haven't seen it in person but I have their wireless mouse and like their products. So I was reluctant with this purchase as well as it being priced for the keyboard only but I love it. The feel is excellent. I also have a wireless set I bought for half the price but that keyboard has no feedback (keys are too soft and no noise) which I make a lot more mistakes on (caps & # doesn't even light up). You can change the color depending on your mood as well as adjust the brightness. You can control the volume and speed of audio or video and the mike & headphone plugs are convenient for web calls or gaming. All the hot keys are pre-programed. Oh the letters light up, not just the background but mainly noticeable at night. The picture makes it look like there is a space but it's a metal strip on the wrist rest which is detachable. The color is the same across the keyboard, not multi' colored. The picture looks red and orange.
Cons: The wrist rest makes it seem a lot larger, so I don't use it as I don't wrest my wrists anyhow. I'm used to putting my hands on the sides of the keyboard and the hot keys can be pressed by accident. The logo, volume and brightness color does not change with the keyboard color, it's always blue. The length of the cord is limited but I suppose no shorter then a regular wired keyboard. Width would only be an issue with older drawer type keyboard trays. Wish their was a wireless version.
Saitek Eclipse III back lighted keyboard July 21, 2010 I've only used this keyboard for about three weeks, but it works perfectly. No complaints whatsoever! Can be used in zero ambient lighting conditions which is where I use it after dark.
